When I saw Khloe Kardashian wearing this Herve Leger black and white striped dress, I was like "Daaaaayaaam Khlos!" She looked fierce in that skin-tight mini dress, waaaay better than Sophia Bush haha!

But of course, Herve Leger don't come cheap... yea $1,250 cheap! Yikes!

Thankfully, retailers for the average person like Arden B <3 sell very similar items!

Sarah's Birthday Outfits

We've been M.I.A.. but we're back!
It was my 25th birthday this past week (tuesday, July 27th to be exact)!
Here are couple of outfits I wore to celebrate.

Lulu's Olive Green tiered romper, Nine West nude pumps, Bakers earrings, assortment of random bangles and my super awesome Louis Vuitton purse given to me for my birthday by my gorgeous sister, Rachel.

Rachel can ALWAYS rock a red lip and it always looks good.

my friends got me Little Mermaid balloons (my favorite Disney character!!!!) hehe I love my friends.

I'm wearing a Zara floral dress, Bakers white sandals, and H&M earrings. Yay.. ps. that right there was a Red Velvet Cheesecake (yes, it does exist) by Cheesecake Factory. OMG. delicious... tasted like heaven! LOL ;)

Shoes + Bows = Love

I'm always all for cheap thrills and good bargains... although I do at times fall for the expensive luxuries once in a while!
So, while browsing celebrity gossip websites, I saw the Mary J. Blige wearing Christian Louboutin Madame Butterfly Booties ($1,195) at the Essence Music Festival... I died!

Instant infatuation with those bows, even though they are named Madame Butterfly..

Anywho, I am wearing my "Jennifer Aniston" look at work. The blouse is from Old Navy, paired with Zara Khaki skinny pants, Old Navy cognac wedges and a Nine West belt. My accessories VERY minimal and wore my Charlotte Russe leaf necklace.

Strawberry Fields Forever

 

Being inspired by Summer and all its fun fruits, I decided to paint some strawberries on my tootsies!  I absolutely love, love, love how they turned out.  I used a couple colors from OPI's Swiss Collection.  It was a quite easy project, actually.  I first applied the red base, "Color So Hot It Berns".  Second, using a toothpick, I dotted the red nails with a yellow color by Wet & Wild.  And last, I painted the tips, almost like a french manicure design, with OPI's green, "Cucoo For This Color".  I pulled some of the green color down from the tip line, with the polish brush, to give the illusion of the leaves from the stem.  

Oh, Sooo Sweeeeeeeet!

I was recently on the Victoria's Secret Site and found these knee-high fringe sandals, by Colin Stuart.  The picture below portrays a "whole look" to give a better idea of how to wear these "different" sandals.  Sarah and I are still not convinced that these sandals have what it takes to make a fab outfit.  As Sarah so humorously put it, "What, is that supposed to be hair on your legs?" 

So, how about you? What are you thoughts or ideas to spruce up this sandal look?

ShopBop has a variety of harem pants, if you are interested in purchasing some! They come in silk, denim, sweats... anything you can think of! I can see how they can be comfortable, but all i can think of is.... MC HAMMER! hahahaa. am I wrong here?

Makeup Monday -- Burberry Beauty

I love Burberry. I've always been a fan of their classic checkered prints but I'm a little uneasy about their new beauty collection (which is available for pre-order now). I feel like designer brands should try to stick to their own specialty instead of branching out to other consumer markets such as beauty or what not. That's just my opinion. But hey, who's to say Burberry Beauty won't thrive in the makeup world!
...maybe MAC will come out with purses and clothes soon! haha

Accessorize Me -- nOir Jewelry

Today,  my outfit was just bleh.... I just wore a v-neck t-shirt and jeans to work...but i accessorized the mother-eff out of it. :D

A whole arm of bangles from H&M, Forever 21 and Aldo Accessories, a nOir Jewerly turquoise/gold ring (my sister from another mister, Rachel, got for me a their New York sample sale, luv ya girrrrrrrl) and H&M earrings.


Rachel also got me these "Los Angeles" earrings which is also nOir jewerly! I love emmmm'.. gotta represent! hahaha. This picture was taken in Miami in the beginning of June, hence the margarita and sweaty-ness :) hahaa. Sunglasses are Dior.
